Effective February 2nd, we're renaming two core parts of the Snowplow platform to better reflect what they do.

What's Changing

  • Data Product Studio will become Event Studio
  • Data Products will become Tracking Plans

We're making these changes to align with how you think about and use these features. "Tracking plans" matches industry-standard terminology, and “Event Studio” more clearly describes what it does: where you design and manage your tracking implementation.

What Stays the Same

Your workflows, data, and access remain unchanged. This is purely a naming update. All functionality you rely on continues working exactly as before. Nothing breaks technically.

What to Expect

Between now and February 2nd, you'll see these changes roll out across:

  • Our website and documentation
  • The Snowplow platform interface
  • Support materials and help articles
